Hi, I'm Jialin (Jelly) Deng

Jialin (Jelly) Deng is a food designer and researcher. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Human-Food Interaction within the domain of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at Monash University. Her research on "interactive food" seeks the future of food-computation integrations for enriching human-food interactions beyond the existing boundaries between the edible and digital realms. With a multidisciplinary background, Jialin has previously worked at the intersection of art, design, and food innovation industries. Her works look at the impact of design and computing technology on the food-related experiences reflecting human subjectivity, culture, and identity. ​
